If a wealth tax doesn't do the job.....simply get rid of the loopholes. One way or another, the wealthy must be forced to be treated like the rest of us.
Just want to ask, can Californians quit subsidizing the Red States with our federal taxes to help with the resources for these programs? Whether housing, mental heath services or healthcare the billions we send would be better served here.
You need to change the loopholes which allows the wealthy to dodge paying tax.
Many people are homeless because we can't pay the high rents. Also, piling people into buildings for the homeless is not an answer either, because people on drugs are causing health issues for all who are under the same roof.
The rich should have to pay a percentage of their total worth every year.
Whichever democrat wins governor of California They need to look at withholding federal taxes dollars going to DC the same way Diaper Donnie withholds federal relief funds to blue states/areas after disasters...
