My admiration and respect for Ben Chew, Camille Vasquez and their team has increased exponentially after watching these attorneys.
3:35:00 Emily asks if these lawyers are uncomfortable to watch. Yes, they are. They are absolutely the definition of cringe.
Honestly, I have no love for Gwyneth but I do appreciate her very concise testimony and her version of the collision makes more sense.
Actually, the most professional people in that courtroom are the Judge and Gwyneth Paltrow.
As someone who is indifferent toward Gwyneth, I absolutely believe her. Her testimony makes a lot of sense
My brother is 8 years older than I am and he left home at 18.5 years. He has no idea how bad my father's behavior became, and how he even frightened my friends (he left my mother after 32 years when I turned 18 ) 9 years is a large gap.
In presumably attempting to make Gwyneth unlikable/unrelatable, this female lawyer has somehow managed to make Gwyneth more relatable and the more likeable one in the room.
As a snowboarder with friends that skied, her description of what happened sounds perfectly plausible. I’ve gotten into minor accidents myself, and you would not believe the ridiculous situations you end up in. Between the slick snow and hunks of plastic that are slippery af, and a bunch of other factors, skiing accidents can be insane. Hence why you hear everyday people getting seriously injured frequently on the slopes.
the techniques of questioning from both sides is equally agonizing. Wow!
Listening to Shae, it is sad, yet the reality is, this family needs a therapist, not a courtroom.
