Description

In this macro discussion, Jay sits down with Grant Williams and Luke Gromen to unpack the real implications of escalating conflict in the Middle East. The conversation explores the gap between official narratives and on-the-ground realities, the fragility of supply chains, and the risk of cascading financial stress across global markets. They also examine historical parallels like the Suez Crisis and what all of this could mean for the future of the U.S. dollar and global monetary order. 12:20 Mr. Williams says the US does regime change for democracy. Many don't know that Iran was a democracy in the 1950s. The democratically elected Iranian government wanted Iranian oil to benefit the Iranian people, not British and American oil conglomerates. To control Iranian oil, CIA started a coup and overthrew Iran's democratically elected government, destroying Iranian democracy. Then the US installed the Shah, a brutal dictator who imprisoned and murdered tens and thousands of Iranians. He was also extremely corrupt, so much so that the West started to abandon him and initially supported Iran's religious leaders until they turned on America (largely out of disgust for what the US did to Iran in previous decades). The US and its henchmen also killed democracy in Chile and murdered the democratically elected Chilean president Allende. The US and the West have in fact overthrown so many democracies around the globe and killed 80 million people in the process

Luke is spot on. Russian support, stock market ignorance, he lays it all out. And from sources in the field 👌👌
