This is crap.. my son graduated with honors last December with a computer science degree. He has spent the last year submitting 100’s of resumes locally & nationally yet he rarely even gets the “sorry the position has been filled” email back from ANY OF THESE US COMPANIES! He was identified in the 2nd grade as gifted & has always been hungry to learn. Yet he can’t even get his foot in the door ANYWHERE. He even reached out to a recruiting office for the AF to do cybersecurity as an officer, but its like pulling teeth to get the process going. He’s told it will take a year or more to be accepted into officer candidate program! UNREAL! His sin you might ask? He’s from a middle class family without any great connections in the field, plus he’s a US citizen and therefore doesn’t need an H1B visa to control him in indentured servitude. He would have happily accepted a lower paying job to get his foot in the door at any of these companies! He’s currently working for Best Buy on the “Geek Squad” for $16 an hour while he continues his search.. This kid did all the right things but can’t get a damn job in his field bc of this exact issue & there are SOOO MANY MORE just like him out there! Its SHAMEFUL
My whole department was laid off and replaced by h1b. These politicians don't care about Americans retaining jobs.
Yeah Vivek, that's why India is such a clean and orderly country with first world amenities and next to zero poverty.
Vivek's whole spiel on the campaign trail was that he was the "open debate, talk to anybody guy" lol
Folks, sorry to tell you, but Vivek is an elitist who thinks us peasants should just follow.
If they're so great, why don't they make there home countries great?!
Why does Vivek think American culture is only tv and movies? It's like he's never actually talked with actual people
If India is so fabulous why not live there Vivek.
The real question is why isn't India a technological powerhouse if they have all the best and brightest people?
Why didn’t Vivik’s parents stayed in India to fix their culture there and instead came to America to fix the culture here if it’s so messed up?
