A worker slow down at West Coast shipping ports, including some of the nation’s largest and most critical shipping distribution centers, is causing concern about potential supply chain issues. Workers with the The International Longshore and Warehouse Union have staged work stoppages and slowdowns, all in an effort to break the deadlocked contract negotiations with management that have been going on for two years.
