“They’re making fools out of themselves.” That’s how Alex Jones described the performance by onetime MAGA darlings Kash Patel and Dan Bongino since they took over the top two spots at the FBI, not only over the duo’s adoption of the “Epstein killed himself” line but also for asserting that the Butler, Pennsylvania assassination attempt was carried out by a sole gunman acting alone. While Jones and other pro-Trump influencers have insisted that the government is covering up information on the two Trump assassination attempts, Bongino basically shrugged and said he didn’t really have anything new to share with Bartiromo. “I’m not going to tell people what they want to hear. I’m going to tell you the truth,” he sighed. “And whether you like it or not is up to you.
