It amazes me how American Democrats still believe that their party represents the poor and the working class ...
Remember when the retired rail workers pensions were “dissolved" and thousands lost their pensions? I do.
As one of these Rail workers thank you Jimmy for covering this. We voted this contract down, and the government tries to lie to the American people saying "Most of the unions accepted it" Most of the unions they're referring to is literally 46 percent of the industry. All we want is sick days, they say use your vacation and personal days except we can't, those days have to be scheduled in advance, if we wake up sick one day we literally can't get time off without being punished under draconian attendance policies.
When the two parties fight each other, they're distracting you. When they work together, they're screwing you.
It absolutely amazes me that in these modern times the railroad workers don't have sick days. WTF?
The union should have just added "Ukraine" to their name.
As a train driver in England, we're currently in dispute with our companies too. Solidarity with our colleagues across the pond ✊🏻
