Starbucks Workers STRIKE On Busiest Day Of The Year!

Workers at Starbucks announced a nationwide barista strike on Red Cup Day, with thousands of workers demanding better staffing levels, higher wages, and enough hours to qualify for benefits many currently supplement with SNAP and Medicaid. Guest host Chris Keene points out that while Starbucks workers struggle with low pay and inconsistent scheduling, CEO Brian Niccol earned nearly $100 million last year, giving Starbucks the worst CEO-to-worker pay ratio in the S&P 500.
