HORRORS Of Male Circumcision You Never Knew About! w/ Eric Clopper

Jimmy Dore interviews Eric Clopper, an attorney and activist who is suing states to end non-therapeutic infant male circumcision on equal protection grounds. Clopper explains that the procedure involves restraining the infant, forcibly tearing the fused foreskin from the glans, and crushing the most nerve-dense part of the penis—causing extreme pain that can permanently alter a child's pain response. Clapper notes that the U.S. is the only country where secular medical organizations do not actively oppose the practice, and that harvested foreskin tissue is sold to biomedical companies for cosmetic products, creating a multi-billion-dollar industry. Clopper also reveals that when Denmark and Iceland tried to ban the practice, the U.S., at Israel's behest, threatened them with economic sanctions.
