Max warns that Israel and hawkish U.S. politicians like Lindsey Graham are still pressuring Trump to escalate and draw the U.S. into a long regional war, and could succeed in those efforts. The two conclude by pointing out that regime-change fantasies ignore Iran’s history, political base, and the catastrophic outcomes of similar interventions in Iraq and Syria.
