You know what’s ironic? It’s that we were told you have to get a college degree in some math or science field that pays a high salary and so people did. However the corporations turned right around and hired people out of the country so that they don’t have to pay that college graduate that high salary.
I worked at a small tech company and all they did was pay for Indians to come here and work. Yes, they paid for their moving expenses, trained them, and gave them high-paying jobs. This has been going on for years.
Ship jobs overseas , and import workers from overseas. Double whammy to U.S. citizen workers.
As a truck driver I can confirm the displacement and subsequent disrespect for the American truckers is rampant. Not only they displaced and replaced, good safety oriented drivers but the offering for the few that will be hired is just ridiculous. They want us to accept wages like we live in Pakistan or India or Sri Lanka or Cuba. Complete and total disrespect for the American worker. Trump is failing us if he doesn't fix that.
This exact same scenario happened to people I know. The companies fired the American workers, kept a handful of high performers and hired Indian workers. The American workers had to clean up the mess and constantly fix the Indian worker’s mistakes. This practice has to end.
I'm 100% living this existence.. My Last 2 companies over-staffed on immigrants and cut my OT.. went broke twice working 40 hours in 2024. - Now working 2 new jobs simultaneously 1st time in my life
I work for Amazon 3 months ago they fired the entire Warehouse staff and hired all Venezuelan workers
America First should not be this difficult to comprehend.
