The NFL recently announced that it is rolling out facial recognition software that will speed the process of getting ticketed fans into the stadium and ease the way for VIPs to access the more elite sections of arenas. Of course, this sort of Big Brother-like surveillance is always couched in terms of convenience, but it’s just another step in the erosion of our privacy rights.
