Kash Patel Defends DOING NOTHING During WHCD Shooting!

FBI Director Kash Patel calls in to the show to defend his passive response during the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting, after Jimmy shows video of Patel "just sitting there" at the banquet table while others took cover, then later standing outside on his phone "checking his Uber" instead of running a command center. Patel insists his "training kicked in" and that calmly sitting and looking around was "textbook" situational assessment, while admitting he told Secret Service to do "whatever you feel like" with the suspect and that they mistakenly took his sarcastic order to strip the shooter and cover him in tinfoil literally. Patel explains that the FBI is "trying to establish a trans-type situation" as the shooter's motive, but becomes upset that the assassin's manifesto spared him specifically, saying if it's "because I'm not white, I'm going to be so fucking pissed." The segment concludes with Patel receiving a text about a photo of the shooter in college "dressed as a woman," declaring it's time to "run an angle."
