Dems don't fight this hard against Republicans/ MAGA.
Very disappointed in Tim Walz.
Nothing more reliable than a Democrat establishment snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Genuinely like clockwork
Killing their future because they refuse to become the past. Straight up Sephiroth.
"These damn kids don't get it! They want to fight! Dems don't fight! We roll over and show our belly and get money!"
Two parties system not works if both have same donors.
As a British person, I can't understand the purpose of the Democratic party. It seems their pitch to voters is "the alternative to us is worst". Great strategy that will clear make the lives of working people better!
On the Hoffman point Matt brought up it's also notable that Melissa Hortman, the MN congresswoman who was assassinated the same night Hoffman was shot, posthumously endorsed Fateh in a video for the chamber. I wasn't there myself but some of my DSA friends were at the convention as delegates, and they said tears flowed. Really beautiful moment. This incredible woman, who navigated some of the slimmest congressional majorities in state history to deliver the most progressive legislative session in state history, who worked with Fateh as her confidant in the other chamber, literally gave her life for this state. And her final act as a public figure, from beyond the grave, was to endorse Fateh for mayor. Then the state party had to soil the whole thing by stripping the endorsement. Really ugly stuff. Heartbreaking that they sold the party's soul so easily, it really felt like they dishonored her memory with this.
The fight we face is not along party lines, it's along money lines.
It mostly means Frey gets access to the DFL registration rolls, when only Fateh should have that access.
