Fun fact: the heritage foundation's first "project" was written in 1980 for Reagan, who accomplished 66% of the initiatives during his first term. This is a long term problem with some incredibly wealthy interests who have been working for decades to reach the current moment. It's easy to blame Trump, and he should be blamed, but there are so many presidents who have been issued a mandate who have skated under the radar.

Democracy in the US is facing the Tolerance Paradox. Just as you cannot tolerate the intolerant, you cannot give a democratic voice to those with fundamental anti-democracy beliefs. To do so is a suicidal adherence to the idea of democracy.

Proposition: The Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society should be declared anti-American Insurrectionist Organizations and participants in multiple ongoing criminal conspiracies to subvert the Constitutionally Protected Rights of everyone within America by a hypothetical next administration, and use that as a factor to disqualify anyone who is a member from holding any government job.

They also need to put a law in place that the heads of departments need to have expertise in that field. The EPA head needs to have been an earth, environment scientist. They cannot be allowed to buy a seat in the administration, they HAVE to have worked their way up as a recognized expert.

1) Disallow all funding to political campaigns 2) Randomly select Circuit Court justices to take temporary Supreme Court positions (e.g. 9 year appointments, with one justice cycling out every year) 3) Limit pardon power as easily as possible i.e. without constitutional amendment 4) Cut funding to states that gerrymander

I'm glad to hear that people are finally realizing that the biggest problem we have is the SC. No matter what majority democrats have or what they pass as law, the SC can just overturn it. They have already shown they don't care about precedent unless it goes along with their ideology. The SC is not a just court, its a partisan court willing to overturn anything that doesn't favor their ideological beliefs. The SC must be re balanced and the "conservatives" must have their power diluted by impeachment for corruption or expanding the court or both. This should be THE top priority for democrats.
