Thanks for inviting me, Brian! That was great conversations!
Mr Brain one of the best politicians and military analysts by far very impressive.
This might sound funny, but I only learned about China about six months ago. Before that, I only knew China for two things: food and kung fu movies. That’s the mindset of most Americans—even some Asian Americans. Once you get Americanized, there’s no going back. Instead of helping you grow and broaden your mind, America traps you in a kind of Truman Show bubble. I’m not kidding. History here is either fake or edited. News, movies, music—life in America is the opposite of what you see in Hollywood. For the first time, I’m seriously thinking about traveling to see if I can live outside the U.S. Good topic.
Ex-colonies are becoming the producers while the ex-colonizers become consumers. Colonizers plundered the natural resources of the colonies while hindering economic development in colonies. The law of uneven economic development facilitated with China factor, turning East Asia into the producers of the world. My experience traveling and living in the region convinced me to this reality. It is an unstoppable development despite all the plotting of the US, especially in Myanmar.
After 4 months in Chiang Mai the reverse culture shock has ruined me. I run around proselytizing about Asia. None of my friends can stand me. 😂
in 2023 Us employed 12.9 million factory workers, at the same time China employed 120 million factory workers.
Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars have been made in Thailand for decades. And people think Thailand depends on tourism.
A low key, informative and charming conversation about life.
Really enjoy both of your content a lot, thank you Aotearoa NZ
