Description

- Nothing has changed fundamentally within the US power structure to change the overall objectives of US special interests in regards to pursuing primacy worldwide, thus, no fundamental change in US foreign policy has taken place; - The US geopolitical priority is the pursuit of unipolar hegemony through a division of labor and strategic sequencing, wanting a ceasefire to allow European forces to position themselves inside Ukraine allowing the US to pivot the center of global conflict to Middle East, Asia-Pacific; - The US will provide Russia irresistible terms to lure Russia into a ceasefire and will use European client states to “disrupt” peace by sending in military forces to Ukraine, claiming Europe did it “unilaterally” in the same manner the US used Israel to attack Iran earlier this year; - At the same time the US continues to encircle Russia through its interference in the Caucasus region, dismembering Iran’s network of allies in the Middle East, threatening to arrest Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro, and continues to prepare US military forces for confrontation with China in the Asia-Pacific, all of these nations being Russian allies; - The US just used negotiations as a means of luring in Iran for a US-Israel decapitation strike on Iran’s military and political leadership, enabled the recent Israeli decapitation strikes on Hezbollah’s leadership last year, and President Trump himself recently gloated about luring Iranian General Qassem Soleimani to Iraq where a US drone strike killed him in 2020 - all of which raises the risk for Russian President Vladimir Putin traveling to the US for “diplomacy” with an “agreement incapable” government; References: CNN - Trump-Putin summit in Alaska resembles a slow defeat for Ukraine (August 10, 2025): https://edition.cnn.com/2025/08/09/europe/trump-putin-summit-analysis-2-intl Reuters - Moscow warns of 'titanic efforts' to disrupt Putin-Trump meeting (August 9, 2025): https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/moscow-warns-titanic-efforts-disrupt-putin-trump-meeting-2025-08-09/ BBC - Ukraine's European allies say peace talks must include Kyiv (August 10, 2025): https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0e9py7e28xo NYT - U.S. STRATEGY PLAN CALLS FOR INSURING NO RIVALS DEVELOP (1992): https://www.nytimes.com/1992/03/08/world/us-strategy-plan-calls-for-insuring-no-rivals-develop.html NYT - The Spy War: How the C.I.A. I agree with your point of view.... Never trust a country that historically acts dishonestly on everything they do!!

You would expect Putin to see this coming from miles away. Something is wrong here.

It is absolute madness for Russia to even consider a meeting in Alaska. In your enemy's own backyard.

I completely agree, Brian. The risk Putin faces by this Alaska trip far outweighs any possible reward for going.

I've had this ominous feeling of disbelief ever since hearing about Putin's trip to Alaska, of all places. I hope he cancels. This seems so dangerous.

I didn't get into in detail in the video but regarding security risks for Russian President Vladimir Putin going to Alaska: 1. the US could outright arrest/assassinate him; 2. have a "lone gunman" style attack to create plausible deniability for themselves (the Secret Service couldn't even protect Trump himself from such dangers regardless of who was/wasn't behind the gunmen); 3. Have Europe/Ukraine carry out some sort of operation against Russia during this window of false diplomacy from the US as Israel did during US-Iran talks; 4. Have "Ukraine" carry out an operation in Alaska; It is also possible nothing at all happens - but considering recent events, it is a tremendous risk for Russia with ZERO to gain from it - the US will still continue the war through other means even if the US "walks away" officially, and the goal of eliminating all peer/near-peer competitors (which includes Russia) remains the central US geopolitical objective. I have seen people bring up the visit by the Russian president to the US breaks through the attempted isolation of Russia - but the US controls the narrative and at any time of its choosing can place Russia back into isolation. It just isn't worth playing the US' games.

The US Government can’t even be trusted to make deals with it’s own people. Ask anyone from the “First Nations” about broken agreements.
