Just call him Uncle Sam, that would be a great nickname for a Washington Quarterback
Sam was 4 star that played in the All American Bowl. Spencer Rattler was ranked ahead of him in the same class and Rattler is in his 5th year of college while Sam left for the draft after his junior year
I'm not sure the take away is college specifically, but experience in general. Green Bay keeps showing everyone a great way to give QBs a great chance to have success. Give them years to learn, doesn't matter so much where as long as the lessons are right.
He showed a lot on Sunday bouncing back like that after a 4 pick game. Dude can spin it.
Sam has potential to be a top 10 QB in the league eventually
Sam is a 1 of 1 case. It wasn't his lack of talent that made him go in the 5th he lost all his play makers and had to make it happen on his own. Should've been the first qb gone in the draft
QB's drafted in later rounds generally go to better orgs and have time as a backup to develop for a year or 2. I think that's the key. Handing the team to a rookie with high expectations on a terrible team will rarely end well
He looked good Sunday I was impressed.
It’s more a combination of intangibles, experience and the playbook
The Brock Purdy effect
