The only people upset with this are the media.
always thought locker room access was inappropriate. that's literally where you go as a team for privacy.
"If we aren't allowed in the locker room, how are we supposed to establish relationships with the players?" The same way the rest of humanity has done, when everyone involved is fully clothed.
Marshawn Lynch is owed an apology.
It should have been this way the whole time. That’s a private place, give them privacy. You leave your blood sweat and tears on the field and then have to have media obligations. The least you could do is give them time to unwind and shower in private
I got to stand outside of a locker room earlier this year to watch the players go in after a game. I was shocked at how soon after the media was let in. Definitely on the players' side with this one.
Not wanting television crews in a locker room is normal in every other locker room on earth. Extending the courtesy to theirs should be a non-issue.
Those men deserve some privacy after playing 4 quarters of football man damn let them decompress, get a shower and get changed before you get in there with cameras and microphones. They're already forced to do post game press at the podium why do you need to be in the locker room the second they're done playing?!?
Been a fan since 86 and I can say without a shred of doubt not 1 person who is not a member of the team belongs in the locker rooms.
As a fan, I have never thought it was cool for media to be in the locker room.
