What's ironic about these gambling suspensions and bans is that the pro sports leagues stayed away from Las Vegas BECAUSE of this issue.
Betting the under for every WNBA game. So far made $35k.

the kelce brothers covered this in their new heights podcast at the beginning of last season. travis said he didnt think its a big deal if players gamble as long as it's not football, and jason was quick to point out this exact scenario where gambling on non-football things can very much so put you in a situation where you can be leveraged to throw a football game.

The reason Calvin Ridley wasn't banned is because he wasn't betting on games he was playing in, or rigging games based on his bets. To act like those two situations are the same is insane
