You don't know me and you ain't gotta trust me, but I'm from Lafayette and i can tell you Dustin Poirier is a good dude. He's done more for our community than we could ever do for him so I'm gonna give him some grace and show love while he's struggling just like when he was winning. Diamonds are forever!
Prayers for him
There’s an interview he did just not too long ago where the dude asked him how he is doing as a person and the man damn near broke down so to see his mental state like that isn’t surprising. As a fan of his since the WEC days I have so much respect and love for him, I’ve literally watched him grow over the years not just as a fighter but as a man. So hopefully everything turns out well for him!
I ain’t gonna lie RC got my respect after that response.
Amen to that, that he identifies that he's struggling. It's the first step in admitting you have a problem and need help. I hope he gets the help he needs. 🙏
Hope he gets the help he needs! Beasley too! I recently started therapy. It's helping! Keep making this a safe place for brothers to open up. On the Yo 👌🏾♦️!
Not much different than being a retired soldier. I did 32 years in the Army. It took me a long time to find myself after retirement. I had no purpose, no reason for being here. He has to find a passion project, something that he loves. I turned to Alcohol, it almost killed me, it may still, but every day I try to be good. I love you my brother, you are one of my favorite all time fighters. Just find another love brother. It’s out there, just focus on what you want to be moving forward. We will not judge you for this singular event, but you have to find something. Signed: CW4, 101st Airborne Division, Ret.
ty, would love to see him on this podcast.
The Pivot CONTINUES to dominate as a message of POSITIVE GROWTH for men in particular. I truly love this podcast above all others
Just hearing you guys speak with such positivity and love is inspiring. I'm from South Africa and I follow a little bit of UFC and the NFL. But I don't know a lot about it. Because I follow some people on social media I get the opportunity to do so. I'm all about mental health and helping men in my community through my podcast. I have really learned to listen to another man's pain and hold it so he doesn't fall. The beauty, when that man makes it out on the other side still intact with all the brokenness is something to behold and cherish. Whatever Dustin is going through, I hope he has good men ready to be there for him
