"whinging" is pronounced "winjing" and means complaining in a petty way in English English
When I was a high schooler in the early 2010s I started my programming career building wordpress sites for a local startup. I didn't want to do that forever, so I got a CS degree so I could start doing some real programming and make good money. Now 9 years after getting my degree, 14 years into my career, I'm building wordpress sites for an _established_ local company.

Mullenweg's argument in his post is "private companies are not allowed to change the default settings of an open source application" - this is utter insanity.
Giving a worse experience with lower costs sounds like the most normal business practice
"stunningly" was determined in the pre-meeting, to the pre-meeting, to the first review meeting
The pronunciation of the name Gergely killed me :D
