As a Wichitan, I am delighted to know that a WSU administrator/educator is helping students build these work ethics into their lives. Thanks, Mike - and Sheree - you go girl!
WSU & WSUTech are an awesome combination.. our son is a graduate of the WSU Aerospace Masters program... where he works utilizes both groups.. they make each other better... it does work
An 18 year old graduating with their associates degree in a trade with no debt and a college scholarship is the New American Dream. America is great in Wichita thanks to WSU Tech. A quality education that is actually worth something in the market place with no debt!!! This makes me so proud to be a life long Wichitan.
The day I had to tell someone that pajamas were not appropriate work attire - in a law enforcement environment - was the day I knew I was officially old and it was time to start planning my retirement.
We love Sheree and she is an amazing Leader! Im proud of what is happening in Wichita and WSU Tech. I got my start there under Sheree Leadership.
At 53, I went back to school at WSU Tech and Sherry was there. She lives these words and has lifted this school to new heights. Congratulations Sherry on making WSU Tech the number one Tech school on the US.
I attended the Wichita Area Tech College's Machinist Course in the 80's and have been re-enrolling throughout the years, cad/catia drafting, CNC programming and CMM Programming. WSU TECH gave me the tools to make a good living for over 30 years.
I was fortunate to get my work ethic from my Dad, and the US Navy.
My Son attends WSU...he's been working for one of the tech companies on campus since he was a Sophomore...he's now working for them full-time and making more than I do while still finishing up his last few credits before he graduates...it took my daughter 2 years to find employment after graduation...this program should be the model and not the exception!
Effectiveness means doing the right things..the correct tasks, Efficiency means doing them the right way with minimal waste.
