the name of the little girl at 29:10 who was murdered is Hind Rajab,along with most of her family. there was an excruciating 3 hours wait for that lone little girl while an israeli tank sat right there aiming its weapons at the car...she was on the phone with the palestinian health authority this whole time while her murdered cousin was next to her! the ambulance that eventually got clearance for a route to rescue that little girl was shot at by the idf and both rescue workers got killed too..Hind was bleeding out. how on earth does she not even know her name or what happened,its reported wide..even in western media what happened that day.and she is the head of a journalist organization! its a good interview but not knowing this,among so many other horrible and visible facts,is really telling. sorry,but the horrible story of Hind Rajab..among all the others...really triggers my heart

Sure, it's hard to accept that people you identify with (your group, your tribe) is targeting children. Doesn't change the fact that is what Israel is doing and has been doing for decades. Very poor pushback from Tilo about some Danish report about intentional targeting. The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry just published their report accusing Israel of causing death, injury and trauma Palestinian children as part of their ongoing genocide in Gaza and the West Bank. Countless doctors have given testimonies of deliberate targeting of children's heads, genitals and chests. Unbelievable (but believable) that people like Anat still can't confront the moral rot of the Israeli military (and society).

Dass sie als Journalistin die Frage nicht beantworten kann, ob es glaubwürdige Berichte gibt, dass Kinder gezielt angegriffen wurden, sagt aus, dass sie sich nicht wirklich mit dem Thema beschäftigt hat. Auch die Verschlossenheit gegenüber der Möglichkeit, dass diese Ereignisse gegäben haben könnte, lässt tief blicken. Und sie wirkt wie eine sehr offene Person. danke für das sehr gute Interview

Ich lerne jeden Tag etwas mehr über die Geschichte meines eigenen Landes, Deutschlands, und darüber, wie der Holocaust überhaupt möglich werden konnte. Ein Großteil der Deutschen wollte oder konnte das Ausmaß der Verbrechen einfach nicht wahrhaben. Je grausamer die Gewalt ist, desto schwerer fällt es, sie als Realität zu akzeptieren. Ich finde besonders den Teil interessant, in dem sie sagt, dass sie als Israelin nicht akzeptieren kann, dass es in Gaza zu einem systematischen Töten von Kindern kommt. Nach offiziellen Angaben wurden dort inzwischen mindestens 21.000 Kinder getötet. Selbst diese Zahl stammt aus offiziellen Erfassungen, die unter Kriegsbedingungen entstanden sind. Wenn man all das betrachtet, was wir inzwischen wissen und sehen, fällt es schwer, sich überhaupt vorzustellen, dass unter diesen Bedingungen in Gaza überhaupt noch Menschen leben können.
