Actually, we have been lucky in having so few losses. War generates destruction and death for both sides. It's foolish to expect zero casualties

It's aerial combat, we're firing at them from jets, they are firing back. Anyone thinking we weren't ever going to have a plane shot-down is a bloody fool.
Sure. A fighter jet getting shot down sucks, but the media is blowing this WAY out of proportion. These things happen in war and pilots no the risks when they sign on the dotted line.
Dudes gonna be paraded around either way. Either in our streets or theirs.... I pray for ours

In Iraq, I’ve flown in a helicopter that was actually shot at, hit, and still completed the mission. The rotor blade had a bullet hole and airframe had 2-3. Nothing critical was hit and we made it to our destination.
You're funny we got air superiority even though 10 of our planes and helicopters got hit yesterday out of them 10, 5 got destroyed. There's a huge disconnect between air security and the reality that's going on.
