As a Catholic I can vouch that they do want you to pray. Pray for the souls of the two lost children, all the wounded and their families. Prayer is always welcome and appreciated in Catholic communities.

The parents should feel just as guilty due to years of abusive treatment. They started to "transition" their kid at a young age & later put him on SSRI's. Good parents never do those acts. Seems like the dad was absent & the mom was checked out.

Yet another example of red flag laws not being used to stop an actual mass shooter. MN's "red flag law" went into effect in 2024. This kid posted on video everything he was planning, including the target, the guns, & stating that he was suicidal. The parents knew he was disturbed & suicidal, yet let him keep the guns. There were likely more warning signs that he was a danger to himself & others.
