I already lost my animation job over ai. What sucks more is the work they liked of mine was not ai but they demanded I use it for speed. So the quality fell and they fired me eventually saying I wasn’t trying hard enough with ai. Yet when I didn’t use it, they liked what I made.

I can see AI replacing Hollywood entirely. Let the technology reach the point where anyone can just say, "I want to see a 90-minute Powergirl movie starring Sydney Sweeney vs Scarlett Johansson and these are the plot points...". In a few minutes, you have your wish.

I don't have time to read Tim's book, but I have an ai that will read it for me.

Even in commercials they are mixing AI generated persons with actors. I’m pretty damn sure 99% of pop artists music from 2007 on, were produced by AI programs (like Suno)

AI is killing entey level. This will slowly kill everything since there will be nothing to replace people when older folks retire. AI is turning into a net negative.

It starts with "establishing shot", then it goes to "just one set piece", then it's the cast, then the movie, then its virtual reality, then it's brain implants.
