Im a gen z who's been working for 10 years. These examples are individuals with rich parents that don't represent the whole generation.

older millennial here, my parents taught me how to write a resume and they drove me to my job until i could buy my own car. they never spoke to my bosses. but, my dad did do my first ever job application at mcdonalds. he died just 2 weeks later. i got the job. i went to work just a day or two after burying him. i wasn't going to disappoint him. he absolutely was the type to say " ok funerals over, you got responsibilities, work tomorrow, kids can't feed themselves!"

Bring back family businesses. Then kids can grow up working with and learning from their parents and it all makes sense. There can be parents and kids involved in the same workplace in a positive manner.

No way this is real, statistics are BS sometimes.

Can't blame them, you need Fifteen years experience to tell which job offers are good, crap, or scams.

I worked at a college and their were parents calling to try to get professors to change the grades of their children

I can understand a parent helping you write a resume. The modern hiring process is absurd. Itll be easier and you can write up your own when you actually get experience

Probably shouldn't have locked them up for 2 years and some change.

A combination of inattentive parents and a horrendous school system has produced incompetent workers.

I have dealt with this lol. I had employees have their parents call me at work. I even had a mom show up angry because her kid worked 15 minutes past his scheduled time because I needed him to cover another spot. She said I was wrong for keeping her kid late lol. I had another employee threaten me saying she will get her mom after me lol because I told her to get off her phone. I also had people bring their parents to interviews. We live in strange times.
