Tim, hang it up on this one. You talk about first principles but don’t understand the discussion of epistemology of rights.

An hour long crashout because someone said you performed poorly in an argument. Warren isn't attacking you, he's a third party observing what the rest of us are seeing too. You should have taken a few moments to reflect on why people see it that way instead of this embarrassing reaction.

So far Tim has said that Andrew was wrong, Warren was wrong, the founding fathers were wrong, the Germans were wrong, the Spanish were wrong, the Chinese were wrong... Just take the L.

You're kidding, right? You fundamentally couldn't let go of your criteria while trying to answer Andrew, because ultimately he was right and you were trying to redirect the conversation to what you wanted to talk about.

Ignoring this would have been far better. Rehashing this debate and even claiming he did well was a bad idea.

This is why I want to teach my 6 year old son, it's OK to be wrong sometimes. It's OK to admit you were wrong. It's OK to admit you misunderstood. Its OK to admit you made a mistake. It doesn't mean life is over. It's doesn't mean you lose everything. Real friends will forgive quickly and stand by your side. Tim, once you learn this lesson life becomes so much more enjoyable and happy. It truly frees you. When we try to double down or cover up our mistakes it just makes everything more visible and painful.
