I can’t understand why Californians are so upset about gas prices. I thought they drive electric cars and use the high speed trains for transportation.

Man, maybe if California didn't waste 135 billion dollars over 16 years trying to build a high speed railway and actually did it, maybe this gas crisis wouldn't be so bad. Edit: it has been brought to my attention that I was a bit misled. They've spent 16 billion so far and the estimated cost will be 135 billion. They have spent 16 billion and haven't connected 2 cities yet after 16 years.
