I find it so hard to comprehend the precision in such a hard stone... how did they move them... shape them... polish them... what in the world was going on back then? I am always amazed when I see these stones and left with so many questions. and it blows my mind that more people are not just baffled by this. I don't know how they did it but I truly wish I did.
Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed this look at a fascinating part of the Sacred Valley. *all estimated weights are estimated only, mmmkay?* Check out the new merch designs - https://unchartedx.dashery.com - you can get all the designs in lots of apparel, just hit the sort button - and thanks for considering the value for value model!
Every time you post one of these videos about all the megalithic stones it just baffles me I was an industrial contractor for 30 plus years 150 to 230 ton cranes and we'd make big pics 90 to 120,000 people don't understand what kind of logistics go into moving that kind of weight even with modern equipment so once again thank you for the video
Brilliant, just in time for Friday night. Now delaying going to the pub for an hour, must get priorities right. Megalithic education first, drinking second.
Thanks for going up to the quarry so we dont have to 😅 sounds really tiring - respect.
The quality of the filming is so great, actually felt like I was on this tour!
The weirdest thing about those saw cut marks making the diamond pattern on the hill, is the the cut marks go right up to the inside edge without making an overcut mark into the vertical wall.
Ben your pics/video is the best on Youtube. The way you capture the sites are amazing. You have a great eye and you also know the best guides and are friends with the most knowledgeable people. Thank you again!!!
D.C. Long visited a U.S. Army base at Ft. Bragg, NC confessed to visiting a underground facility there in 2010. He said there were giant 100+ ton granite slabs that were floating with metal boxes place on top of them with clamps on their corners, and that they emitted silent acoustic vibrations that he could feel in his body, but could not hear, no sound. That there were boxes on top of them had protruding heavy gauge wires sticking out of them and into the stone. There were boulders next to them floating too were there was a guy in a lab coat that was spinning it around with his hand. Theres more to the story so look up D.C. Long, and floating granite slabs and boulders.
The scattering of these blocks makes me think a mile-high wall of water came through the area eons ago. Earthquakes don't explain the dispersion patterns; water does.
