I mean, what took them so long - seriously?! YOURE FIRED

Several years ago, Lesley Stahl interviewed Donald Trump and she continued to lie as she adhered to the democrat narrative. When facts came out, no apology. A colossal failure. Before 2024 election, edited their interview with Kamala Harris in the attempt to make her sound intelligent and versed in world events. Constant DNC narrative support. Today, Pelley is on the NYC unemployment line and the message from his former employer is..........'fired for cause'.

Scott Pelly is 68 yrs old. He has no fresh ideas of his own and has always been a pompous ass. Anyone that speaks to their boss in a staff meeting like he did would have been fired on the spot. CBS gave him time to realize the mistake he did and apologize but his arrogance would not allow that. He was fired "for cause" so he gets no severance or anything. Pelley should have seen his mistake and offered to retire to save face.

Pelley - 'Bari Weiss was trying to kill the show'. No, she may have been trying to make the stories more equal in coverage.

60 minutes has half the viewership numbers they did just 15 years ago. Meaning only 2.8% of the country even watch it anymore.

I think of it as sphincterization, a condition where you cut off your own air supply and can't think clearly any longer. It is common and self limiting.

They should do 60 minutes story about how all the reporters are overpaid. And how it's scandalous

60 Minutes hasn’t been good for over 25 years. This show is not untouchable. Throw out the garbage now

Back in the 80s my dad was a pretty senior executive at his company. He and some other executives were sent to a media relations class. The very first thing the instructor said was never talk to 60 minutes. They will edit the interview to make it say whatever they want it to say.
