I think the reason why they released version 4.5 is because they got nothing else to show and the competition overtook them for the moment.
It’s just the end of companies that try to overhype their products to raise funds, and the end of YouTubers with no technical background who believe them.

They said it's not a reasoning model, it could be that reasoning applied to 4.5 is huge, compared to chat 4 release, which o1-o3 are built on?
it is not AI declining in capability, they're just going back to the root and improving the non-reasoning base behind the reasoning models.
Most of the YouTube channels didn't figure out the API pricing...good job.
