I bet someone takes this as a start or inspiration and creates a distributed collective version that runs on thousands of systems on the internet and all contribute to a single codebase that gets updated everywhere in the collective and repeats, and that will literally create an intelligence explosion. What a time to be alive!
Note that "one GPU" in this context a one H100 80GB

Should think of doing something like SETI@home, where you could use a bunch of computers on the net, use their spare time (becoming agents for training) to help develop the model that is being trained by the agents.
This would be like a “Folding at Home” or “SETI at Home” that utilized distributed computing and regular users computers to perform parallel research tasks on massive datasets that would have been otherwise impossible, too costly or too long to do otherwise.
