Hollywood's collapse is the only thing about Hollywood that is entertaining to me.
Bad writing, bad films. Woke trash. Woke actors saying they hate you. Endless remakes. 3 weeks and it's on streaming. High prices, inflation.
Why would we support an industry that openly hates us and our values? Hollyweird can’t die soon enough.
Why pay a fortune to see a movie written by someone whose goal isn't to entertain but rather to lecture me and who despises me? And, these people are usually terrible at their crafts so even if I agreed with "The Message" I'm in awe of how amateurish and uncreative the writing and directing often is. Then, more likely than not, I'm going to have people talking loudly throughout the movie and I know if I say anything it's going to turn into a huge problem. I think I'll keep my $50. And, I'm someone who has loved going to movies all my life.
I'm so sick of seeing films which are filmed against greenscreens. Even scenes that could be filmed on a set or on location are CGI'd - - and they think nobody notices the difference. Going to a movie today is like watching someone play a video game.
Youre wrong Matt. It IS wokeness and the drop in the quality of cinematic storytelling wokeness causes.
Pretty sure Hollywood is straight up money laundering at this point. No other industry can consistently lose millions (billions?) And continue to do the exact same thing
Movies are also failing because the "stars" involved in these films won't shut their mouths about politics, and alienate half of the country by thinking they need to insert themselves into every controversial topic. Movies stars are no longer mysteries. We know too much about Robert Deniro, and Mark Ruffalo, and many others
Writers. Directors. Producers. No imagination. No creativity. Hollywood is dead.
It seems now, in every movie and TV show, one of the main characters is one of the LGBTQ letters. If there are 5 main characters, there's only a 5% chance that one of them would be one of these letters. This is propaganda by misrepresentation. That I believe, is one of the reasons people are sick of Hollywood.
