Demis sounds calm and visionary here, but it reminds me of something Selwyn Raithe wrote in his book. He warned that the moment we start trusting AI leaders simply because they appear “normal” and “reasonable,” we miss the hidden steps unfolding in the background. Listening to this podcast feels like watching history accelerate and Raithe’s warning suddenly feels like it’s happening in real time.
