So, first you're a kid watching The Land Before Time, and next you're speeding into 40s listening a podcast about dinosaurs.
This fellow is clear proof that a grown man with a passionate interest in dinosaurs is really, on the inside, just an excited little boy who has always been interested in dinosaurs. He would have talked all night if you had let him. Great informative and interesting talk.
Tyrannosaurus Lex
The first 10 minutes of this video entertained me more than the last 5 Jurrasic movies combined! Such a knowledgeable man, and he knows how to explain his knowledge, amazing video
You know an expert is passionate about the subject when he's the one talking 99% of the time and barely actually getting asked any questions. Just a bombartment of knowledge and information.

Even after three and a half hours, I did not want this to end. Dave Hone is amazing and Lex Fridman has to be the best interviewer that I have come across.
Lex is basically the only podcaster that seems like he is still genuinely trying to learn. Sure he dives into politics from time to time, but even that is in pursuit of understanding. Keep up the great work, Lex! I’m a huge fan!
If this is your first introduction to David Hone, I’d highly recommend his lectures at The Royal Institution. He’s just such a captivating communicator, I feel like he embodies the excitement we all felt about dinosaurs as kids but demonstrated in an adult dialogue.
This is a top 3 guests Lex ever had on. He was so informative and passionate.
