Description

When a decorated veteran goes to Prince Harry’s Invictus Games as the face of Team Canada, you expect them to be protected. Instead, what happened to Scott Snow exposes a shocking gap between royal public relations and reality on the ground. In this exclusive interview, retired Canadian Navy diver and Special Forces operator Scott Snow joins me alongside his lawyer, Philip Millar, to tell a heartbreaking story of abandonment. After fracturing his cervical and lumbar spine on the rugby court in Dusseldorf, Scott returned home to a terrifying reality: as a veteran, he was never covered by a single dollar of sporting event insurance. While the games cost over 40 million euros—averaging a massive 73,000 euros per athlete—the organization left their own poster boy holding the bag for thousands of dollars in rehabilitation costs, forcing him into a temporary retirement home at just 43 years old. We are naming names and uncovering the truth of how a game meant for wounded warriors left one of its finest behind. 👇 Let me know your thoughts in the comments. How does an organization with this kind of budget let this happen? * We reached out to both Invictus Games and the Canadian Government. Invictus didn’t return emails, but a rep for the National Defense Department of Canada said: “ As this matter is the subject of ongoing litigation, the Department of National Defence cannot comment at this time.” 🚨 JOIN THE COMMUNITY 🚨 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SUBSCRIBE for royal, celeb and bold faced news: ‪https://www.youtube.com/@NewsNation 📩 FOLLOW PAULA 📝 Paula on Substack: https://substack.com/@paulafroelichun... 📸 ON Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pfro #PrinceHarry #InvictusGames #RoyalScandal #ScottSnow #TheScoopWithPaulaFroelich NewsNation is your source for fact-based, unbiased news for all Americans. How can they spend so much and not cover the games with insurance that's beyond foolish.

"If you make a mistake, make it right. Say you're sorry and move on." While TIME Magazine just named Prince Harry one of the "100 Most Influential People in Sports" for his work with the Invictus Games, wounded Canadian veteran Scott Snow is sitting under a mountain of rehab debt—ghosted by the very foundation that claims to protect him. The Canadian government admitted the insurance blunder, but Scott is still left behind, and has yet to hear from Prince Harry or Invictus. 👇 What do you think? Is it time for the Invictus Games Foundation and Prince Harry to answer Scott’s emails and make this right -- pr at the very least apologize? Let’s talk in the comments.

It’s disgusting! Invictus games clearly does not support the competitors properly and are seriously lacking in their duty of care. Veterans - beware!

Sue Invictus and Harry. Why should the Canadian government and taxpayers pay? Invictus spent $43,000,000 on their Canadian games and they didn't even pay for the athletes' insurance?
