Kia Ora Mark, thanks for coming to my country and highlighting not only our food but our culture as it relates to food. Most youtubers would probably just hit the top 10 in each country and call it a day. Respect for giving people the time to tell their story
Unbelievable love , care and passion the Chef and his team put into these stunning dishes. Just beautiful.
I have been amazed by the New Zealand tour but this video blew it out of the water. The chef has a pure heart, he speaks of childhood experiences, native ingredients and cultural considerations for food discovery. The chef is a child in a candy store, he is so genuine in his emotion and feeling when describing food and the desire to share and inspire. Truly amazing, keep it Kiwi, love you guys.
Probably my favorite episode! I watch all of your videos and the foods presented here was, as you said, most educational. Thanks to all of the amazing chefs!
Of all the videos i have seen on food. This was top class. Ahi is now on my bucket list. Thank you Mark, never knew this was in NZ.
Hi Mark , I am Māori native to New Zealand , I’ve been watching you since a saw a snake neck fish soup video so many years ago , My heart exploded when I saw you were here in New Zealand , I’m so incredibly proud of my country and they way you have been treated whilst here , this chef in this video is the best example of why People from here are just different the way he treats his produce the love he has for the animals that he uses ts all about respect for your environment to keep it pristine for the next generations . Thank you for visiting us over here hope you come back soon .
Respect to the Chef. Done an awesome job showcasing NZ flavours and representing in a down to earth Kiwi kind of way
I have to say as an Aussie who for the first time went to NZ in January this year, was blown away by these people, from the Māori in Rotorua to Dunedin (my fav) to Auckland we loved every bit of it and can’t wait to return, my favourite part were the war memorials, whilst sad they gave me a better understanding of the brotherhood of the Anzacs, I’ve realised whilst we fight like warriors in rugby and cricket, we are truly brethren when it comes to backing up our mates and standing for what is right.
New Zealand is definitely one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
That chef is really funny when he says Melt in your mouth 😂 He is definitely Mark's fan.
