DEFUND NPR/PBS?: Saagar And Ryan Debate

I think the biggest scandal with public television and Sesame Street is that after decades Oscar the Grouch is still living in a Garbage Can. No agency is helping to get him off the streets.

Ryan and Saagar are the example for left bro, right bro love.

I miss PBS back in the day. Sesame Street, Mr Roger’s, Arthur, etc. I don’t even think they have these anymore. Last I heard, they moved Sesame Street to cable. That was a great show to teach kids the basics.

For the CEO to say with a straight face she's "never seen any political bias" at NPR, she should be fired that second. That is as absurd a statement that can be made. And the Democrat's pathetic attempt to ignore the bias was just gross.

I remember listening to Car Talk on NPR with my dad years ago and laughing so hard that it hurt.

Reading Rainbow started me as a reader which has carried into adulthood. I’m an author today and cannot begin on how influential that channel and show was for me growing up in rural KY.

PBS and NPR should be non-partisan and the definition of vanilla programming. Anything beyond that needs to be reigned in, on both sides. NPR should be reporting facts only and doing their absolute best to keep editorialization out of everything they do. Take a lesson from Japanese news broadcasters and focus on human interest pieces, niche regions of the country, etc. Public access needs to stay out of politics.
