The USA used to be the industrial powerhouse of the world until the greedy corporate masters moved our Industries offshore to utilize cheaper labor through GATT and NAFTA. Most went to China and now China is the industrial powerhouse of the world. Chinese workmanship is world class. Almost everything I buy is made in China and some are precision instruments. I bet a Chinese watch is as good as a Swiss watch.

I don't recall the exact details, but in 2008, a US G.I. was convicted of raping a Filipina, and prior to sentencing the US intervened and declared that the G.I. would, instead, serve his sentence under the care of the US Embassy, in Manila. In what kind of 'sovereign country' do such things take place? I watched the meeting between Xi and Biden then after Xi finished there was a reporter said in Chinese " President Xi, Do you trust Biden" 😂
