As brief as it was, the authenticity of the brothers’ relationship made this movie great
In the comic there is one Yautja named Shorty who's getting picked on by his peers due to his size, but he's still allowed to do things his peers can do as long as he meets the technical terms. Dek's father is pretty atypical and his hate for Dek is more personal than following the rules.
