Trump signals Ukraine is losing and he wants to blame EU
Trump Signals Ukraine Defeat and Prepares EU for Blame
Understand why Donald Trump’s recent comments signal a retreat from Ukraine support and how his cautious positioning creates future diplomatic traps with both Europe and Russia.
Short Summary
- Trump signaled retreat from his initial Ukraine war stance using sarcasm to mock prevailing Western narratives about Ukrainian success.
- Analysts argue Trump is strategically distancing himself from anticipated Ukrainian defeat to pre-empt blame directed at him.
- This ambiguous approach fails to provide clear US policy—failing to fully commit or definitively withdraw—satisfying neither hawks nor isolationists.
- European leaders and the neoconservative wing are expected to exploit this ambiguity to push for greater US involvement.
This episode analyzes Donald Trump's conflicting signals regarding the Ukraine conflict, primarily stemming from a recent Truth Social post. Speakers discuss the strategic implications of this perceived distancing maneuver, contrasting it with the strong, clear policy withdrawal they believe Trump should have executed post-election. The core issue remains how this hesitation empowers neoconservative factions while potentially alienating future partners like Russia.

Japan received a lot of support from Russia after the 2011 earthquake. They even sent rescue teams. I have nothing but gratitude for Putin.
This Ukraine conflict is absurd. Even if the Russian economy does go sideways they aren’t just going to pack up and leave the new territories. They will build a border fence and defend it. Negotiation must happen as a priority. So many dead young Ukrainian soldiers. A ridiculous and evil tragedy caused by US warmongers and Ukrainian nationalists.
Why is Western Europe acting like Ukraine is in NATO? They are not in a position to DEMAND anything from the US.
Zelensky , Sen Graham and Kellogg will be planning big time on how they are going to change Trump’s stance on the war. The EU leaders will be planning more dangerous false flags to drag Trump into joining them to attack Russia. No way all these players will let Trump off lightly without doing their best efforts to drag him into the war
WHAT IS OBSCENE IS THE AMOUNT OF MONEY UKRAINE HAS RECEIVED FROM THE WEST. WHERE DID IT GO? VERY TROUBLING.

Yes. It drives me crazy - he meets with the collective neocon west, who have ALL backstabbed him, who openly campaigned against him, who privately scoff at his behavior and who stand against him in every possible way. They are truly the losers of the world - and likely will all be voted out in short order. I don’t understand it.
