Billionaire Influence, Misogyny, and the Fracturing of MAGA Ideology

Analyze how wealthy, often immigrant, elites like Musk and Thiel normalize illiberal ideas, linking their misogyny to the rise of extreme figures like Nick Fuentes within the post-Trump conservative ecosystem.

Short Summary

  • Billionaires often lack true substance and exploit cultural associations between wealth and intelligence.
  • A core connecting thread (through line) among figures like Musk, Thiel, Yarvin, and Fuentes is profound misogyny.
  • Political operators like JD Vance show extreme cynicism, prioritizing proximity to power over convictions.
  • Far-right influencers strategically release accurate critiques of Trump to draw in new audiences before pivoting to radical views.

This discussion dissects the moral and ideological rot infecting the modern far-right, from Silicon Valley titans to online grifters, demonstrating how shared misanthropy underpins their political strategies.

They all seem to have a drug problem. They hired the people that helped make them rich none of them could have done any of this on their own.

"If Vance will throw his own kids under the bus, how can you expect him to fight for you." That could not have been said better.

As a retired psychiatirc nurse, not trying to diagnose but just observing behavior, the Palantir guy with Andrew Ross Serkin had all the signs of extreme mania. Also, every time I hear Elon Musk or Peter Thiel try to put words together in a sentence, they sound as though they have a cogntive- verbal disconnect or delay. Whether these issues are inherent or drug- induced I don't know, but they seem to struggle to be coherent, and often lose that struggle. They may have a good fund of knowledge in their niche areas, but that does not make them generally intelligent. They've conflated luck, timing, and marketing flare for wisdom, of which they are woefully lacking.

These people are sociopaths. All of them exploit others and see no problem with it. In the past, human cultures that lived in extreme environments, where cooperation was necessary for survival, would not tolerate these individuals. Capitalism allows them to thrive.
