Trump CALLED OUT in COURT as Lawyers get SANCTIONED!!!

Attorneys Brian Kabateck and Shant Karnikian cover Judge Kathleen Williams's 56-page ruling nullifying Trump's IRS settlement and referring his lawyers for state bar discipline, two days before Todd Blanche's Senate confirmation hearing. Williams wrote the case "was brought for an improper purpose: to gain the imprimatur of judicial legitimacy for a 'settlement' that had no viable basis in law or fact." She found Trump, his sons, and the Trump Organization "acted in bad faith," that there was "never adverseness between the Parties," and "never a case or controversy." She permanently barred all parties from citing or using the settlement in any future proceeding. Then she went further: Trump's personal attorney Alejandro Brito was referred to the Florida Bar. Copies of the order were mailed to the New York Bar (where Blanche is licensed) and the D.C. Bar (where Woodward is licensed), both of whom she noted had prior relationships with Trump's criminal cases and whose former clients stood to benefit from the fund they negotiated. A fourth lawyer, Daniel Epstein, was barred from appearing pro hac vice in the Southern District of Florida. Williams noted that Blanche's ability to "speak for, and bind, both sides" proved there was only one party whose interests were ever being represented. Brian says in decades of practice, he's seen bar referrals by judges only a handful of times. This is the real deterrent.
