Description

Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump met with 800 of the military’s top brass last week and it was difficult to process how demoralizing it felt. If you’re like me, you didn’t recognize your country as our president talked about bringing US cities “under control” and painting anyone who didn’t agree with him as the “enemy from within”. There was a lot to be outraged about in that meeting, and plenty that felt terrifying, but the event was also just humiliating. For our country, for the brave men and women of the military who had to sit and listen, and for the speakers, who, quite frankly, embarrassed themselves. However, none of that limits the danger the event presents for nation on a crash course with dictatorship. Join me and Marine veteran and advocate, Janessa Goldbeck as we discuss. Every member of the military is taught when they enlist or are commissioned they do not have to obey unlawful or illegal orders and a message from me to the Navy commanders who have attacked civilian fishing vessels in the Caribbean killing unarmed civilians and seeking the boats you are not covered by Donald Trump's Supreme Court immunity you attacked vessels in international waters you can be charged with International war crimes and Trump will not be able to bail you out think about that before you accept another unlawful illegal and unconstitutional order from this insane out of control psychotic megalomaniac authoritarian

The military is one of most difficult career, lowest paying, most unthankful job…But people join the military out of a higher purpose… protect the homeland from all enemies even if the enemy is the Commander in Chief ‼️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

l am a former Australian naval officer of 30 odd years and veteran of two wars and a couple of police actions. l have stood or sat in front of (and indeed briefed) dozens and dozens of senior officers, politicians and diplomats. l have seen some shockers but this performance by trump and hegseth is by far the worst ever. Good luck America
