The main reason was, they did not want China to have a foot hold on the Americas and access to all that oil.

Amazing video, thank you for interviewing a Venezuelan who really knows and explains what the reality of my country is
I’m crying listening to this. This is my story. My maternal grandfather migrated from Cuba to Venezuela in 1958. He was the youngest of 8 and sent money to Cuba for the rest of his family. He was a millionaire and retired by the age of 40. It broke my heart to see him flee Venezuela in 2015 with two suitcases and nothing left to his name. Thank you for giving us a voice. 😊
Julian has met his match in terms of interrupting
What a brilliant guest! Thank you for this interview.
I absolutely love this kids insight of the economics and the corruption of the Maduro regime in Venezuela. He seems super intelligent and wise beyond his years. It's great to hear the perspectives of the people who have had to live through these wild times. Great interview as always Julian. Keep up the great work. 💪🏽🤙🏽
This was one of my favorite episodes!! I learned so much and I love how you two guys were able to agree, disagree and discuss. I hope you have Daniel on again very soon
Such excellent podcast! This was the best interview and you're so smart to have jumped on this right away, got the RIGHT person for it, and met the moment!
As a audio engineer I always have problems with the mic usage on my clients, I’ve come to say think of a mic like a flashlight and you have to shine the light on your throat for the best results from the mic. They would not understand what I’m trying to say otherwise.😂😂
