🇯🇵 Japanese Street Food in Osaka: https://youtu.be/3zLvByt52go?si=DOjWs1-7VCsTtN5k 👉 SUBSCRIBE for more: https://www.youtube.com/@MarkWiens 👕 T-shirts: https://store.migrationology.com/ OSAKA, JAPAN - Osaka is a Japanese food capital, and along with eating lots of Japanese street food during my time there, I also wanted to check out a few of the best Japanese restaurants. Here are the restaurants I visited: Maruyoshi Sushi (https://maps.app.goo.gl/6MxagNxBnC7DMa616) - Located at a morning market in Osaka, this restaurant serves the freshest fish you can imagine. There are two famous places next to each other, so I chose the less famous option. Their mixed kaisen don including an assortment of seafood over rice, was fantastic. Price - 2,750 JPY ($17.10) Kadoya Shokudo (https://maps.app.goo.gl/USV6e3qzjTq9yQvf7) - Next up on this Japanese food tour in Osaka I went to one of the highest rated ramen restaurant, known especially for their Tsukemen, or dipping ramen. I think I got lucky with the line! Price - 2,500 JPY ($15.54) Honke Shibato (https://maps.app.goo.gl/3e5tJc8iKau3hXvSA) - To say this restaurant is an institution is an understatement! They’ve been open for over 300 years and still run by the 15th generation. Their unagi, eel, is among the best I’ve had in Japan. Price - 8,870 JPY ($55.15) per dish Namba Okonomiyaki Ajinoya Honten (https://maps.app.goo.gl/evhY6vpmfgNogHP59) - One of the signature Japanese dishes of Osaka is okonomiyaki, and I specifically wanted to come here because it’s an original shop that’s been open since 1965 and 4 generations, that’s still family run. Price - 8,200 JPY ($52.84) for everything If you love food and Japanese food, Osaka is an eating paradise. This is just a start of the countless delicious restaurants to try in Osaka! Look @ Micah all grown. I remember when he was pushing his own pram and could barely reach the handles. What a journey.

Please forgive me, but I have to know if I am the only one wondering: how does Mark stay in shape? Maybe he hikes between countries? How can he eat multiple meals, one after another and still have room for more? Multiple tape-worms? Maybe he has discovered the secret of time travel. Excellent film editing beyond anything ever seen before? ... Love the channel, thank you so much for sharing all of your adventures. Much respect. The joy of food and celebrating life from around the world, if only we all could focus more on these simple joys in our lives. Thank you Mark.
