Recovering heroin addict of 10 years,, 6 years clean now got both my kids, working full time as a MA for an endocrinology dept and going to school full time for nursing and have 1 yr left in obtainingy BSN and minor in Behavioral Neuroscience....ppl hit bottom and do a life reflection and wake up one day and say I'm tired...ppl change and can make a difference. And no one is too good to succumb to life's lessons and hit rock bottom it can happen to anyone at anytime. Stay strong. 💪

i was a corrections officer in michigan at SRF and listening to this mans story is very touching. He brought back a lot of memories. i remember thinking the same exact thing he did how ruthless and terrible it is the way we treat the inmates. I like to think thats why i made it out in one piece, respect takes you a long way. I ran a level 4 unit, unit 1200 in freeland michigan.
