it has taken him ten years to do this , people need to know this
Amjad's point about grit really hit home. With Rumora, I've been able to keep my brand visible, even when times were tough.
The idea of turning Replit into a $3 billion business with simple steps is mind-blowing. I sometimes check visibility scores with aiCarma to stay updated.
I absolutely love how there's like no music or some background nonsense to distract the viewer from the lack of quality content. This is just pure quality and class. NEVER CHANGE !
A simple advice to every vibe coding app(replit, bolt, lovable, Google AI, launch able, base44, etc is that - "Kindly run scans for cybersecurity, vulnerability, legal compliance of that country, legal validation process, provide IP security, don't allow remixes because if every one copies then IP will not be protected, instead of creating businesses it may disruption businesses. Therefore run scans for all types of vulnerabilities if required make a option for human verification so that a human app developer or human developer verifies whether AI has done it correctly so that it can be deployed or publish it, also take social responsibility to help end consumers. If you like my suggestions kindly award me 😂
This conversation is super inspiring, but I think there’s one part that needs a bit of a reality check, the idea that AI is going to make billion-dollar solopreneurs common just because building software is getting easier. Building apps is no longer the hard part. Building a real business still is. Yes, tools like Replit are killing the technical barrier. That’s amazing. But what actually creates billion-dollar outcomes isn’t code, it’s distribution, timing, domain depth, and obsession. AI makes everyone a builder. It doesn’t make everyone a closer, a strategist, or a market maker. I loved the point about domain knowledge being the real edge. That’s the part people underestimate. When everyone can spin up an app in a weekend, the advantage shifts from “who can build” to “who understands the problem so deeply they see what others miss.” That’s where real leverage lives. and on the solopreneur billion-dollar question, I don’t think it’s about if, it’s about what kind of business. Will a solo founder build a billion-dollar company by vibe-coding random apps? probably not. Will a solo founder build a billion-dollar company by owning a niche, building audience, and using AI as a force multiplier? That feels way more realistic...and way closer than most people think. AI doesn’t replace founders. It amplifies the ones who already think clearly, move fast, and don’t quit after six hours. That’s the real takeaway from this interview, in my opinion.
Hey future billionaire ❤
Amjad’s journey from coding in internet cafes to leading Replit is seriously inspiring. The way he’s shaping the future of AI-powered coding and making software creation accessible to everyone is next level. This episode nails how AI is changing entrepreneurship and why vibe coding is the new skill to master. Definitely a must-watch for anyone wanting to build big in the AI era!
Ironically, the people making the most money from the "build a SaaS with one prompt" movement are often: AI tool vendors. Course creators. Influencers. YouTubers. Newsletter operators. In other words, they're often selling shovels during a gold rush, not necessarily finding gold themselves.
